Potty Training Tips!
Have you found yourself wondering if your child will ever become potty trained?! I have recently asked myself that question. Josie is just over 2 years old, and I am of the mind set, that it will happen when it happens; this is something that I am not going to rush. However, as we are expecting baby #3 in March of 2008, I am hoping that Josie will begin to show an interest in using the potty for more than just a reading chair.
There are some children that are potty trained (for the most part) shortly after the introduction of the potty - while others take longer to become comfortable with the idea of ”giving something up”.
Josie has no problem sitting on the potty (she’ll ask to do so), running around naked for 2 hours w/o having an accident & even ask to have a diaper put on her when she has to “go” - she will even come up to me & ask me to change her diaper —- but under no circumstances will she go to the bathroom in the toilet …. at least not yet.
I do have hope, and in the mean time I am trying out the tips that I found on the Baby Center website
